TURBAT: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan (South) Headquarters in Turbat, where he met doctors, nurses, and paramedical staff and appreciated their dedication to serving humanity.

He encouraged healthcare professionals to continue providing compassionate and quality medical care to the people.

The interior minister inspected various sections of the newly established FC Hospital, including the Outpatient Department (OPD), medical wards, MRI and CT scan facilities, and operation theatres.

He expressed satisfaction over the hospital becoming operational within a short period and praised the efforts of Inspector General FC Balochistan (South) and his team for successfully completing the modern healthcare facility.

Mohsin Naqvi said he was pleased to see the FC Hospital functioning so quickly, describing it as a significant achievement for the region. He noted that a modern medical facility equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment services had long been needed in Turbat.

The hospital will not only serve FC personnel but will also provide quality healthcare services to the local population, improving access to modern medical treatment in the area.

During the visit, the interior minister received a detailed briefing on the medical facilities and healthcare services being offered at the hospital. Officials informed him about the hospital’s modern infrastructure, diagnostic equipment, emergency care services, and treatment capabilities designed to meet the healthcare needs of both security personnel and civilians.

Inspector General FC Balochistan (South), Major General Bilal Sarfraz Khan, also briefed the minister on the force’s professional training, operational preparedness, and ongoing field operations across the region. The briefing highlighted the FC’s role in maintaining security and supporting development initiatives in Balochistan.

Mohsin Naqvi commended the professional readiness and operational capabilities of FC Balochistan (South), acknowledging the force’s continued commitment to maintaining peace and stability. He also paid tribute to the security forces for conducting successful operations against militant organizations, including the group referred to by the government as “Fitna al-Hindustan,” as well as other proscribed terrorist outfits. He praised the sacrifices and professionalism of FC personnel serving in challenging environments.

The visit underscored the government’s emphasis on strengthening healthcare infrastructure alongside security measures in Balochistan. Officials said the establishment of the modern hospital reflects ongoing efforts to improve public services and ensure better healthcare access for residents of Turbat and surrounding areas while supporting the welfare of security personnel stationed in the region.
