New Provinces Are the Solution to Problems: Naqvi

ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi stated that new administrative units or provinces are the sole solution to existing challenges, and this matter must be taken directly to the public.

Addressing Pakistan’s first Economic Summit Conference in Islamabad, he remarked that the current system has collapsed and requires comprehensive structural reforms.

He highlighted that ordinary citizens are deprived of basic amenities, noting that people still have to travel for ten hours just to reach a court.

Emphasizing that creating new administrative units will bring forth fresh leadership, Naqvi urged all political parties to sit together under one roof to resolve national issues, stressing that the matter of new provinces should be brought into Parliament and universities.

Furthermore, he noted that youth cannot be pacified merely with laptops and tablets, as they demand fair employment and a fixed system.

He also called upon the business community to step forward and play a leading role in the political and economic framework, adding that without reorganizing and resetting the national system, meaningful improvement remains impossible.
