ISLAMABAD : Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has warned that if the conflict between Iran and the United States resumes, its effects will not remain limited, and the world will have to bear the consequences.
In an interview with a French television channel, the former foreign minister said there is no military solution to the Strait of Hormuz issue, stressing that any escalation between Tehran and Washington would have far-reaching repercussions beyond the region.
Bilawal also raised serious allegations against neighboring India, stating that New Delhi is funding terrorist organizations to carry out terrorism inside Pakistan. He added that the current tensions with India could lead to another conflict at any time.
The PPP chairman did not provide specific evidence for his claims against India. There was no immediate response from Indian officials regarding the allegations.
His comments come amid heightened regional volatility following recent military exchanges between the US and Iran in and around the Strait of Hormuz, a critical global oil transit chokepoint
