KARACHI : Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Pakistan (JUI) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman arrived in Karachi on a six-day visit, party officials confirmed on Thursday.
According to a JUI spokesperson, the central chief was warmly welcomed at the airport by Sindh chapter leaders including Allama Rashid Mahmood Soomro, Allama Nasir Mahmood Soomro, Muhammad Aslam Ghauri, Qari Muhammad Usman, and Maulana Muhammad Ghiyas.
During his stay, Maulana Fazlur Rehman will address the Wahdat-e-Ummat conference scheduled to be held today on Mangho Pir Road. He will also meet various prominent figures, including Pir Sahib Pagara and Kamran Tesori.
The JUI chief’s itinerary includes participation in a Meet the Press session, as well as separate meetings with party officials, business leaders, and political and social figures from across the city.
