Govt Exempts Businesses from Closing Hours Until May 31

ISLAMABAD: The Government of Pakistan has announced a major relaxation in business operating hours.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has exempted commercial centers across the country from the mandatory closing times until May 31.

According to a notification issued by the Cabinet Division, all markets, departmental stores, and shopping malls nationwide will be allowed to remain open throughout the week as usual.

Furthermore, this exemption from restricted hours also applies to bakeries, tandoors (ovens), restaurants, and grocery stores.
