PESHAWAR: The attempted militant attack on police personnel was successfully thwarted in the jurisdiction of Reggi Model Town Police Station in Peshawar.
In this regard, an unidentified terrorists opened fire on officers in the Reggi Model Town area. The attackers reportedly used a sniper rifle during the assault.
However, due to the swift and professional response of the police personnel on duty, the attack was effectively repelled without any loss of life.
The timely defensive measures and adherence to security protocols ensured that both law enforcement personnel and civilians in the vicinity remained unharmed.
“Our personnel are fully alert and committed to safeguarding the lives and property of citizens. Any attempt to disrupt peace will be met with a firm and decisive response,” the spokesperson said.
The incident did not disrupt normal life in the area, and routine activities continued under enhanced security arrangements.
