DUBAI: iPhone 17 series prices have fallen significantly in several countries as retailers offer discounts ahead of the expected launch of Apple’s iPhone 18 lineup.
According to foreign media reports, Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 18 series and a new foldable iPhone today. Ahead of the announcement, several retailers have launched discount sales to clear their remaining iPhone 17 stock.
In the United Kingdom, Amazon has cut the prices of the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max by up to £150, while the standard iPhone 17 has received a discount of £100.
Similarly, retailers have reduced the price of the 512GB iPhone Air by up to £200. In several European countries, meanwhile, retailers have discounted iPhone 17 series models by between €100 and €150.
Reports suggest that Apple could discontinue the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max after announcing the iPhone 18 lineup. As a result, the current discounts could offer consumers one of their last opportunities to purchase the iPhone 17 Pro at a reduced price.
Meanwhile, reports claim that Apple could price the iPhone 18 Pro $100 to $200 higher than the current models.
The expected price increase could make the discounted iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max models more attractive to consumers looking for a high-end iPhone at a lower price.
