QUETTA: The Jaffar Express service between Quetta and Peshawar remained suspended for a second consecutive day, railway authorities said on Tuesday.
Railway officials said the train would not depart from Quetta today, adding that the service had been cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances.
Authorities also said the Jaffar Express traveling from Peshawar to Quetta would return from Jacobabad instead of completing its scheduled journey.
Officials said passengers had been informed about the disruption, while a decision on restoring operations would be taken after reviewing the prevailing situation.
