KARACHI: NexGen Auto (Pvt.) Limited has revised the prices of its Jaecoo and Omoda vehicles in Pakistan following recent changes to the country’s sales tax regime.
The latest price revision brings mixed news for buyers. The company has increased prices for the Jaecoo J5 hybrid models from October 1, 2026, while cutting the price of the Jaecoo J7 Premium by Rs500,000 with immediate effect.
Meanwhile, the Omoda 7 Premium has retained its existing price.

The Jaecoo J5 HEV Comfort will rise by Rs300,000 to Rs6.999 million, while the J5 HEV Premium will increase by the same amount to Rs7.999 million.
However, buyers looking at the Jaecoo J7 Premium will receive a Rs500,000 reduction. Its price has fallen from Rs10.499 million to Rs9.999 million, effective September 14.
Jaecoo J5 Buyers Can Lock in Current Price
NexGen Auto has also set payment conditions for customers who want to secure the existing Jaecoo J5 prices before the increase takes effect.
Customers who have already paid the full amount will receive their vehicles at the original price. Those who have made partial payments can also retain the current price, but they must clear the remaining balance by September 30, 2026.
If buyers fail to complete payment by the deadline, the revised prices will apply from October 1, regardless of when they made the initial booking.
New customers can also book the J5 at the current price until September 30, provided they complete payment by the deadline and receive confirmation under the available dealer quota.
From October 1, all new J5 bookings will follow the revised prices of Rs6.999 million for the Comfort variant and Rs7.999 million for the Premium variant.
Jaecoo J7 Gets Rs500,000 Price Cut
NexGen Auto has reduced the price of the Jaecoo J7 Premium by Rs500,000, bringing it below the Rs10 million mark.
The company has set the new ex-factory price at Rs9.999 million, effective September 14. Dealers have been instructed to update customer quotations accordingly.
Omoda 7 Price Remains Unchanged
The Omoda 7 Premium has avoided any price adjustment. Its ex-factory price remains Rs10.649 million until further notice.
The latest changes therefore create a mixed picture for Pakistan’s auto market, with the J5 becoming more expensive while the J7 Premium becomes more affordable. Buyers planning to purchase the J5 before October 1 can avoid the Rs300,000 increase by completing their payment within the specified deadline.
