ISLAMABAD: Balochistan Home Minister Ziaullah Lango has alleged that a global conspiracy is underway against Pakistan, pointing specifically to India and Israel as key players funding terrorist activities in the country.
Speaking on the program “Tonight with Samar Abbas,” the minister claimed that India and Israel are investing money to destabilize Pakistan, asserting that action will be taken against terrorists wherever they are found. His remarks echo previous statements where he has accused India of serving as the “single investor” for banned outfits like the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) .
Lango also provided an update on security operations across Balochistan, stating that Intelligence-Based Operations (IBOs) are underway in some areas while full-scale operations are being conducted in others . The minister has previously reaffirmed the government’s zero-tolerance policy on terrorism, vowing that security operations would continue without discrimination to protect citizens’ lives and property .
The Balochistan Home Minister’s latest allegations come amid ongoing counter-terrorism efforts in the province, where security forces have been conducting operations against militant networks. He has consistently maintained that external elements, particularly India, are fueling terrorism in Balochistan, with the goal of sabotaging development projects like the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and spreading anarchy .
