TEHRAN: A high-level Pakistani delegation has arrived in Iran.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) the delegation is led by Field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir.
ISPR has said that the Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi is also the part of delegation.
The ISPR has reaffrimed that the visit aims to maintain reconsiliation process between the United States and Iran.
The main objective of the visit is to reduce tensions between Iran and the United States and to help advance the ongoing negotiation process.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi welcomed the Pakistani delegation.
Earlier, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ismail Baqai had also confirmed that negotiations between Iran and the US are continuing through Pakistan.
