ISLAMABAD: Gold prices meet a sharp increas in markets across Pakistan today.
Following five consecutive days of downward trends, local and international markets witnessed a significant rebound as gold price today experienced a sharp and notable increase across Pakistan. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola surged by 4,700 rupees, establishing a new rate of 453,036 rupees.
Similarly, the valuation for 10 grams of gold increased by 4,029 rupees, bringing the domestic rate to 388,404 rupees.
This local surge was directly triggered by international market movements, where global bullion prices climbed by 47 dollars to reach 4,305 dollars per ounce.
Silver prices also followed a similar upward trajectory, with per tola silver increasing by 126 rupees to settle at 6,963 rupees.
Analysts note that geopolitical tensions and escalating sovereign debt obligations continue to sustain strong investor demand for safe-haven assets, heavily influencing the fluctuations reflected in the current gold price today.

The global precious metals landscape remains highly volatile yet resilient, driven by macroeconomic uncertainties, shifting monetary policies, and persistent geopolitical friction worldwide.
While spot gold prices hovered around 4,288.36 dollars per ounce with minor daily gains, and US gold futures stabilized near 4,323.10 dollars per ounce, broader market participants continue to reallocate portfolios toward bullion as a reliable hedge against inflation and currency depreciation.
Other precious metals experienced mixed sessions, with platinum rising to 1,756.90 dollars per ounce, while palladium saw slight downward corrections.
