TEHRAN : Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and Chief of Defence Staff (CDF), has arrived in the Iranian capital as part of Pakistan’s ongoing diplomatic efforts to mediate regional tensions.
According to the ISPR, Upon his arrival, the Field Marshal was accorded a warm reception by the Iranian Minister for Interior, Eskandar Momeni. Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Interior, Mohsin Naqvi, was also present at the high-level reception, underscoring the strategic weight of the delegation’s visit to Iran.
