OKARA: In Okara’s Renala Khurd, a passenger’s mobile phone was stolen while traveling on a Green Bus, prompting the driver to display quick thinking by driving the entire bus, along with all its passengers, straight to the police station.
Upon being informed of the theft, the driver immediately locked the bus doors and headed to the Sadar Police Station without allowing any passengers to disembark.
According to police, the passengers were questioned and searched inside the station, during which the stolen mobile phone was successfully recovered.
Police arrested the suspect allegedly involved in the theft and initiated legal action against him.
After a video and news of the incident circulated on social media, users praised the driver’s presence of mind and prompt action, with many calling for the driver and conductor to be rewarded for their responsible conduct.
