Peshawar: Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) killed two most wanted terrorists during an intelligence-based operation near Regi Nadern Bypass.
Acting on secret information, the CTD SWAT team laid an ambush in the area. During the exchange of fire, terrorists Abbas and Usman were killed. Both were directly involved in the martyrdom of CTD Constable Sanaullah.
A mobile phone belonging to the martyred constable Sanaullah was recovered from terrorist Abbas.
According to CTD, Abbas was wanted in 11 terrorism cases, including the killing of five police personnel and injuries to more than a dozen officers.
The other companions of the terrorists managed to escape under the cover of darkness.
Heavy police contingents have cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to apprehend the fleeing suspects.
