RAWALAKOT: CCTV footage has emerged showing protesters storming CMH Rawalakot Hospital during recent unrest linked to the banned Awami Joint Action Committee.
The footage shows individuals entering the hospital with sticks and using force against patients and medical staff.
Officials said members of the banned group forced entry into the facility and attacked patients as well as injured police and Federal Constabulary personnel under treatment.
The attackers also vandalized hospital property and disrupted medical services, according to hospital and security sources.
The incident took place during heightened tensions in the region, where protests and clashes have recently escalated.

Authorities said the hospital primarily serves local residents and was severely affected by the violence.
Officials condemned the attack and said it endangered both patients and medical staff.
The government has previously designated the Awami Joint Action Committee as a banned organization.
Security forces have launched investigations into the incident after the CCTV footage surfaced.
