QUETTA: Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, has lauded the successful counter-terrorism operation conducted by security forces and the Balochistan Police in the Surab district.
He stated that the elimination of 18 terrorists is highly commendable and serves as clear evidence of the forces’ superior professional capabilities.
Expressing deep grief over the tragic loss of precious civilian lives during the incident, he emphasized that the government stands firmly with the affected families in this difficult hour.
Chief Minister Bugti noted that the people of Balochistan desire peace, progress, and prosperity, whereas terrorist elements aim to deprive citizens of this developmental journey.
He made it clear that indiscriminate operations against terrorists, their facilitators, and enablers will continue without compromise.
He stressed that the state will never bow before terrorism and that no concessions will be made regarding the protection of public life and property.
Reiterating that there is no space for enemies of peace in Balochistan, Bugti asserted that the state will maintain its writ under all circumstances.
He added that the sacrifices rendered by security forces and law enforcement agencies are a source of pride for the entire nation, reaffirming that the complete eradication of terrorism from the province remains the ultimate resolve of the government.
