CM Balochistan Reaffirms State Integrity

QUETTA: Addressing the 20th National Workshop in Balochistan, Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti declared that Pakistan and Balochistan are inseparable, with their bond destined to endure forever.

He emphasized that the integrity, sovereignty, and national security of the state are non-negotiable.

The Chief Minister highlighted that the government remains open to negotiations with any party, provided they operate within the framework of the Constitution of Pakistan.

However, he firmly stated that there is no room for dialogue with elements intent on damaging the state’s unity or pursuing agendas to dismantle it.

CM Bugti criticized anti-state propaganda and violence, noting that organized conspiracies are being fueled by toxic narratives on social media to weaken the country.

He rejected the notion that underdevelopment is the root cause of terrorism, pointing out that even developed areas of Balochistan still face threats from those who aim to impose their ideology through force.

Regarding governance, the Chief Minister acknowledged the need to address public grievances through improved administrative services.

He expressed a strong commitment to restoring youth confidence by ensuring a transparent, merit-based system, announcing that the government will utilize artificial intelligence to streamline and safeguard the recruitment process.

The session concluded with a detailed, two-and-a-half-hour-long question-and-answer exchange between the Chief Minister and the workshop participants.
