According to the Meteorological Department, most parts of the country will experience cold and dry weather tonight, with severe cold prevailing in hilly areas. Moderate to dense fog has been forecast for the plains of Punjab, upper Sindh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The department reported that the lowest temperature today was recorded in Leh at minus eleven degrees Celsius. Temperatures dropped to minus six in Kalat, minus five in Skardu, minus four in Gupis and Astore, minus two in Malam Jabba, and minus one degree Celsius in Quetta. Meanwhile, temperatures were recorded at four degrees Celsius in Islamabad, seven in Lahore, twelve in Karachi, and five in Peshawar.
