Boyfriend to Appeal Brazil Court Ruling on Model Ana’s  Fall

BRASILIA: The boyfriend of model Ana Kostrova has decided to challenge a federal court ruling that classified her fatal fall during a film shoot as an accident.

The incident, which occurred last June, attracted significant media attention across South America and Western countries.

According to Brazilian media reports, Kostrova was filming a scene on an upper floor with three male actors when she lost her footing and fell down the stairs, resulting in her death.

Following a nine-month police investigation involving interviews with the film’s director and the three co-stars, authorities analyzed call records and forensic evidence at the scene.

The investigation concluded that there was no indication of foul play.

Based on the police findings and witness testimonies, the regional federal court officially ruled the death an accident.

However, the model’s boyfriend, Lucas, maintains that key evidence was overlooked and has announced plans to appeal the district federal court’s decision to the Superior Tribunal de Justiça (STJ).
