QUETTA: The Provincial Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langau visited the residence of martyred police head constable Rahmat Khilji in Quetta to offer condolences and express solidarity with the bereaved family.
The minister was accompanied by Adviser to the Home Department Babar Yousafzai and other officials. He met with the family members and children of the martyred officer, offering prayers (Fateha) and conveying his heartfelt sympathies.
In this regard, Ziaullah Langau paid tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of Head Constable Rahmat Khilji, who got martyrdom while fighting terrorists. He stated that the fallen officer had attained a high level of sacrifice while defending the nation and maintaining law and order.
“The entire nation is proud of the sacrifice rendered by Shaheed Rahmat Khilji,” the minister said, adding that such acts of courage strengthen the resolve of security forces in the fight against (terrorism).
The Home Minister also interacted with the children of the martyred officer, expressing affection and reassurance. He focused on that the government stands firmly with the family and that they should not feel alone in this difficult time.
He further assured the family that those responsible for the attack would soon be brought to justice. “The elements involved in this act will be held accountable,” he stated firmly.
“The sacrifices of police personnel in the ongoing war against terrorism cannot be forgotten,” he stated, reasserting that the government remains determined to honor and support the families of those who lay down their lives in the line of duty.
