India’s defeat by Pakistan sparks panic among terror groups in Balochistan: Tania Bazai

ISLAMABAD: Senior lawyer Tania Bazai says terror outfits operating in Balochistan with RAW’s backing are now in panic. After India’s defeat at the hands of Pakistan, these groups fear they will no longer be protected by any security shield.

Speaking to Buraq Digital, Bazai said if India couldn’t stand against Pakistani forces, these militant outfits have no chance. “They are nothing in front of our military,” she stated.

She said anti-state elements have tried to fuel insurgency in Balochistan since 1948. “Have they succeeded in freeing Balochistan?” she asked. “Just like failed movements in the past, current resistance will also collapse.”

Bazai criticised Baloch nationalist parties for remaining silent on militant outfits. “They use the Baloch card to win elections,” she said. “They also want to save face.”

She urged the state to invest in Baloch youth. “Poverty pushes them towards militancy,” Bazai warned. “The state must act, or it will continue to face terrorism.”
