Education and youth welfare a top priority for Balochistan govt: Finance Minister

QUETTA: The Government of Balochistan has mentioned its commitment to prioritizing education and youth development as key pillars of the province’s progress. 

So far, addressing officials and stakeholders, Minister Nosherwani focused that Balochistan’s youth represent the future of the province and the country. 

The Finance Minister mentioned several steps being taken by the provincial government to uplift the education sector. These include the construction and renovation of schools, expansion of scholarship programs, promotion of technical and vocational training, and the creation of employment opportunities tailored for the youth.

Furthermore, he noted that the government is focused on creating a supportive and inclusive educational environment, particularly in remote and underdeveloped regions. 

“We are committed to removing all barriers that hinder our youth from accessing quality education and sustainable livelihoods,” said Nosherwani.

The initiatives indicates the province’s broader vision of peace, prosperity, and progress, projecting a positive image of Balochistan as a land of opportunity and potential.

The meeting concluded with a consensus on increasing inter-departmental coordination to effectively implement youth-centric projects and to ensure transparent use of allocated resources.
