QUETTA: Tremors were felt on the Sunday noon in many parts of Balochistan including the provincial capital Quetta. According to the Seismological Center, the earthquake had a magnitude of 4.9 on the Richter scale and occurred at a depth of 21 kilometers.
The epicenter was located 125 kilometers from Quetta. Due to the tremors, people rushed out of their homes and offices, but no casualties or property damage have been reported so far.It is worth mentioning that tremors were also felt in Quetta on Saturday, although the intensity was slightly lower compared to today. Saturday’s quake measured 4.5 on the Richter scale.
