ISLAMABAD: Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said that despite continued Indian aggression and baseless accusations following the Pahalgam incident, Pakistan showed maximum restraint.
While talking to a private news channel, Khawaja Asif said that Pakistan has offer cooperation and impartial investigation but unfortunately India choose confrontation over the dialogue and imposed war on Pakistan.
Pakistan only targeted the Indian military installations in response to the Indian aggression, Defense Minister said.
Regarding the Indus Water Treaty, Khawaja Asif dismissed India’s move to suspend the Indus Waters Treaty, stating that the agreement contains no clause permitting such suspension.
Answering a question, he praised Pakistan’s armed forces and mentioned that the Pakistan Air Force showed its brilliance once again through unmatched performance during recent tensions between Pakistan and India.
