Advisor to Balochistan CM welcomes Pakistan-India ceasefire

senior Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader has firmly denied the existence of any power-sharing arrangement with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in Balochistan, asserting that the provincial government will serve its full five-year term.

QUETTA: Sardar Baba Ghulam Rasool Imrani, Advisor to the Chief Minister of Balochistan for Labour and Manpower, has welcomed the recent ceasefire agreement between Pakistan and India, describing it as a positive step towards regional peace.

The provincial advisor stressed that Pakistan has always supported peaceful coexistence with its neighbors.

“Pakistan’s desire for peace should not be misunderstood as weakness. Our commitment to defending the country is absolute,” he said.

Furthermore,  the advisor stressed that the people of Pakistan stand firmly behind their armed forces, united in their resolve to protect the homeland.

He noted that the successful defense strategy had delivered a strong message, making it clear that any future hostility would be met with a firm response.

He concluded by mentioning the government’s full support for the military and called on citizens to remain united in these testing times.

The ceasefire, he said, should be seen as an opportunity for peace, but Pakistan’s stance on national defense remains resolute.
