Khawaja Asif rules out talks with India, risk of nuclear tension exists

ISLAMABAD: Federal Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has said Pakistan is not ready for talks with India following India’s recent aggressions of targeting the innocent civilians.

Khawaja Asif said that he still stands by the warning given regarding the clear and present risk of nuclear tension.

India’s recent provocations and actions like targeting civilian areas are an obstacle to any serious negotiations. In the current situation, he said.

Defense Minister said that Pakistan will not compromise on its security and sovereignty.

He called on the international community to take notice of the threats to peace in the region and deter India from irresponsible actions. Pakistan is fully capable of responding to any aggression.
