solarisation of girls' school in Sui

QUETTA: Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, has ordered immediate action to improve a girls’ school in Rehmat Colony, Sui.

The directives include renovation of the shed, beautification of the premises, and installation of a solar power system.

He gave these instructions on Monday after stopping his vehicle upon seeing schoolgirls on his route to a condolence meeting. He spoke with the students and listened to their concerns.

The students reported that the school shed was in poor condition and power outages disrupted their studies. The Chief Minister took immediate notice and directed officials to resolve the issues without delay.

Local students and residents welcomed the decision and thanked the Chief Minister for his quick response.

Earlier, the chief minister has issued instructions to prioritize schools lacking basic facilities in the province’s development projects. He made these remarks while presiding over a high-level meeting in Quetta, where the progress, transparency, and effective implementation of development schemes were thoroughly reviewed.
