ISLAMABAD – Pakistan has reiterated its position that it will respond decisively with both conventional and nuclear weapons if faced with military aggression from India.
This declaration comes in the wake of India’s accusations linking Pakistan to the recent Pahalgam attacks—allegations Islamabad has firmly denied, citing a lack of credible evidence. Pakistani officials maintain that the accusations are baseless and intended to malign Pakistan without justification.
According to official sources, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United Nations, Mohammad Khalid Jamali, has issued a strong warning, stating that any Indian military action would be met with a powerful response. “Pakistan will retaliate forcefully using both traditional and nuclear capabilities if India launches a military strike,” he said.
Ambassador Jamali further claimed that Pakistan possesses credible intelligence indicating that India is planning a military offensive. He highlighted India’s past record of false flag operations, suggesting a pattern of provocation followed by baseless blame on Pakistan.
Touching on regional water disputes, he warned that any hostile move by India concerning water resources would be viewed as an act of aggression and could lead to full-scale conflict. “Pakistan will take all necessary steps to protect its territorial integrity and national interests,” he added.
The ambassador also criticized what he described as “war propaganda” being spread by Indian media, reaffirming Pakistan’s stance that it has the sovereign right to defend its national stability and security.

The Pahalgam attack, which occurred in the Indian-administered region of Jammu and Kashmir, involved a deadly assault on security personnel, leading to heightened tensions in the already volatile area. India swiftly blamed Pakistan-based militants for orchestrating the attack, despite offering no concrete evidence to substantiate the claim.
The Indian government accused Pakistan of harboring and supporting terrorist groups responsible for the violence, warning of possible retaliatory measures.
In response, the Pakistani government strongly denied any involvement, labeling the accusations as baseless and politically motivated. Islamabad emphasized its commitment to regional peace and condemned what it described as India’s pattern of false flag operations and misinformation aimed at escalating hostilities.
