Wanted BLA terrorist commander among seven killed in Dera Bugti operation

QUETTA: Pakistan’s security forces carried out a successful operation in the Dera Bugti area of Balochistan on Tuesday, killing a wanted commander of the designated terrorist organisation, the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA).

According to reports, acting on a tip-off, FC Balochistan and other security forces jointly conducted the operation in the Pir Suri area of Dera Bugti.

During the operation, seven terrorists affiliated with the BLA were killed, including the BLA commander Dalil alias Mama, who was wanted by law enforcement agencies.

Dalil alias Mama was involved in attacks on security forces and government installations.

It is pertinent to mention that security forces recently arrested a terrorist involved in activities in the Nushki area in March this year.

The arrested terrorist, identified as Farid Baloch, claimed that RAW (India’s intelligence agency) was behind the Nowshki blast. He disclosed that the attack was planned during a meeting with a RAW agent named Gopi in Afghanistan.

Farid said he was briefed on attacks targeting security forces in Noshki and was responsible for conveying RAW’s instructions to the local leadership of the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA).
