KARACHI: The paper circulating on social media and allegedly linked to the MDCAT 2026 examination has caused concern among medical admission candidates in Karachi.
However, the Sindh Testing Service (STS) has clarified that the paper being shared online is fake and should not be considered authentic.
The clarification comes as thousands of candidates prepare for the highly competitive medical entrance examination. The circulation of an alleged examination paper on social media had raised questions among students regarding the security and authenticity of the MDCAT 2026 test.
The MDCAT 2026 paper circulating across various social media platforms is not the original examination paper.
The testing body urged candidates not to trust the alleged paper or any other misleading material being shared online.
STS advised students to verify examination-related information through authentic and official sources before accepting or sharing it.
The warning was issued amid concerns that unverified content could create unnecessary confusion among candidates.
STS has asked MDCAT candidates to remain cautious about unverified examination papers, messages and other claims circulating on social media. Students have been advised to rely on official announcements and verified information for updates regarding the examination.
The testing service also emphasized that candidates should not allow rumours surrounding the alleged paper to disrupt their preparation. Students have been encouraged to concentrate on their studies and continue preparing for the examination according to the official requirements.
