In this regard, the US crude oil prices fell by 1.58 percent to around $100.30 per barrel. The decline comes as international energy markets continue to remain closely watched by oil-importing countries, including Pakistan.

The international Brent crude benchmark also moved lower, falling by 0.91 percent to approximately $103.90 per barrel.

The decline was also recorded in Murban crude oil, which fell by 2.86 percent to around $117.90 per barrel.
