QUETTA: The Balochistan government is taking steps to promote tourism across the province, including in Bolan, Khuzdar, Ziarat and Harnai.
Projects are underway to improve tourist destinations and provide better recreational facilities, the provincial tourism department said.
Director of the Balochistan Tourism Department Ghahram Bakhshi Baloch said projects were being carried out at tourist sites in northern Balochistan to improve facilities for visitors.
He said the province’s 770-kilometre coastline also had significant potential for tourism.
A comprehensive plan is being prepared to promote tourism activities along the coastal areas, he added.
Balochistan is known for its diverse natural landscapes and scenic destinations.
Baloch invited domestic and international tourists to visit the province.
He said greater tourism activity would create employment opportunities and strengthen the local economy.
