MUMBAI: Kareena Kapoor Reveals Strict Rules on Her Sons as the Bollywood actress opens up about how she manages smartphone access and screen time for her children, Taimur and Jeh.
The 45-year-old actress, who shares her sons with actor Saif Ali Khan, said she remains particularly cautious about allowing her children to use mobile phones. She explained that neither of her sons is permitted to have a personal mobile phone.
Speaking about her approach to parenting, Kareena said she is careful about her children’s exposure to the digital world. Although the boys see both their parents using smartphones, she tries to ensure that their own access to mobile devices remains limited.

Kareena explained that Taimur’s nanny has a mobile phone, which the young boy sometimes considers to be his own. However, the actress said she makes it clear that the device belongs to the nanny and is not Taimur’s personal phone.
She recalled that Taimur even asked whether he could tell his friends that the phone was his, but she did not give him permission to do so.
The actress also acknowledged that limiting children’s screen time can be challenging. She said that when her sons become too engrossed in playing games on mobile devices, she sometimes has to take the phone away from them.
Kareena further expressed concern about the rapidly expanding influence of technology and artificial intelligence. She said she remains cautious about the growing role of digital technology in children’s lives.
Her comments offer a glimpse into the way she and Saif Ali Khan are managing technology use at home while their children grow up in an increasingly digital environment.

Meanwhile, Kareena Kapoor is preparing for the release of her upcoming film Daira, in which she stars alongside Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran.
Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on September 18. The upcoming project has added to Kareena’s busy professional schedule as she continues to balance her acting career with family life.
