KARACHI: Mohammad Rizwan has officially sent his detailed response via courier to the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) following intense media speculation.
According to sources, Mohammad Rizwan raised several key questions in his submitted reply, asking the agency why he was summoned in the first place and demanding to know the specific reasons behind his questioning.
Furthermore, Mohammad Rizwan inquired about the rationale behind withholding his mobile phone and questioned which disciplinary codes he allegedly breached.
It is noteworthy that Mohammad Rizwan, along with Imam-ul-Haq, head coach Sarfaraz Ahmed, and bowling coach Umar Gul, was abruptly recalled during the second Test match of the national side’s overseas series.
Upon returning, Mohammad Rizwan and Imam-ul-Haq faced over two hours of interrogation by the NCCIA, during which their mobile phones were confiscated.
While rumors circulated about potential breaches of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) central contracts regarding internal dressing room leaks, Mohammad Rizwan has now formally sought legal and administrative clarification from the NCCIA regarding the ongoing inquiry.
