Operations to Continue Until Eradication of Terrorism, Corps Commander Quetta

QUETTA: Quetta witnessed high-level media engagements as a delegation of media representatives met with the Corps Commander Quetta to deliberate on the region’s prevailing security landscape, law enforcement challenges, and peace-building initiatives.

During the briefing, media personnel were given a detailed overview of current security dynamics and inspected a cache of heavy weaponry and ammunition successfully recovered from the possession of hostile elements.

Reaffirming the state’s firm commitment to regional stability, the Corps Commander asserted that operations aimed at establishing enduring peace will persist relentlessly until the elimination of the very last terrorist.

Furthermore, it was emphasized that the developmental trajectory and socio-economic progress of Balochistan will continue unabated under all circumstances.

Concluding their visit, members of the media delegation proceeded to CMH Quetta to inquire after the health of security personnel and citizens injured during recent counter-terrorism operations, paying rich tribute to their valor and sacrifices.

Successful Military Operations in Balochistan

Over the past two decades, security forces and intelligence agencies have orchestrated numerous high-stakes intelligence-based and large-scale kinetic operations to neutralize subversive threats, restore writ of the state, and dismantle militant networks across Balochistan.

Operations such as Operation Rad-ul-Fasaad, alongside targeted regional engagements, have consistently dismantled terror infrastructure, recovering vast arsenals of explosives and foreign-facilitated weaponry meant to destabilize critical infrastructure.

These systematic campaigns have progressively neutralized high-value targets, severely degrading the operational capacity of proscribed secessionist organizations and extremist factions.

Crucially, these military efforts have gone hand-in-hand with civil-military stabilization frameworks, paving the way for mega-development projects like the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), the expansion of regional connectivity road networks, and the integration of remote border regions into the national mainstream.

By securing vital economic corridors, safeguarding natural resource projects, and neutralizing external interference, security operations have successfully created a safer environment for trade and investment.
