LAHORE: Pakistan have included five players who have yet to play Test cricket in their squad for the third and final Test against England.

England have already taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. However, the inclusion of several new faces in Pakistan’s squad has attracted considerable attention ahead of the final Test.

Arafat Minhas

Left-arm spin all-rounder Arafat Minhas has played three ODIs and four T20Is for Pakistan.

He became the first Pakistani bowler to take five wickets on his ODI debut when he achieved the feat against Australia.

In 17 first-class matches, Minhas has scored 684 runs and taken 13 wickets.

Saad Baig

Karachi-born wicketkeeper-batter Saad Baig impressed in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, scoring 1,000 runs and being named Player of the Tournament.

During the previous season, he scored a total of 1,369 runs and made 56 dismissals behind the stumps.

Muhammad Imran Jr

Left-arm fast bowler Muhammad Imran Jr, who hails from Swat, has taken 23 wickets in eight first-class matches.

He has also toured with Pakistan Shaheens and recently attended a fast-bowling camp at the National Cricket Academy (NCA).

Razaullah

The 21-year-old right-arm fast bowler has claimed 30 wickets in eight first-class matches.

He can also contribute with the bat and has represented Rawalpindis in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Muhammad Imran Randhawa

With 58 first-class matches under his belt, Muhammad Imran Randhawa has taken 110 wickets.

He is also capable with the bat and was part of the Multan Sultans squad in the most recent PSL season.

Pakistan will hope the new additions can make an impact as they look to avoid a clean sweep in the final Test against England.
