In Kalat, a speeding pickup truck packed with laborers overturned near Khuzainai along the Quetta-Karachi National Highway, resulting in one death and twelve serious injuries, highlighting the ongoing dangers associated with regional traffic accident hazards.
Rescue 1122 personnel swiftly transferred the victims to DHQ Hospital Kalat, with critical cases later referred to Quetta.
Meanwhile, separate incidents of unrest unfolded as a taxi came under fire near Ahmed Wal in Noshki, leaving one dead and three injured, while a late-night shootout between police and armed suspects in Quetta’s Shalkot area left one alleged criminal dead and another injured with an extensive history of robberies—underscoring how daily security challenges and the constant threat of a fatal traffic accident continue to threaten public safety across the province.
