MAMO KANJAN: In a horrific act of domestic violence, a grandfather allegedly murdered his two young grandchildren and critically injured his wife and daughter-in-law during a family dispute in the Mamo Kanjan area on Saturday.
Police have identified the accused as Shah Muhammad. According to authorities, Muhammad fatally stabbed 5-year-old Nabil and 6-year-old Adeel. The children died at the scene from their injuries.
“The accused attacked his own family members following a heated argument,” a police official stated. “He killed both children and also assaulted his wife and daughter-in-law, who are now receiving medical treatment.”
Law enforcement arrived promptly after receiving reports of the incident. Officers arrested Shah Muhammad at the location without further incident.
Emergency services transported the bodies of the deceased children and the two injured women to a nearby hospital. The condition of the injured women remains under observation.
