QUETTA: Security forces killed seven militants in an intelligence-based operation in Washuk district of Balochistan, security sources said.
The operation followed intelligence reports about the presence of militants in the area.
A gunbattle broke out during the operation. Security forces killed seven militants linked to Fitna al Hindustan, the sources said.
The forces also recovered a large quantity of weapons and ammunition from the militants’ hideout.
The sources said the militants belonged to a banned organisation.
Security forces launched the operation based on intelligence about militant activity in the area, the sources said.
