ISLAMABAD : Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah arrived in Islamabad on Wednesday for a two-day official visit aimed at further strengthening bilateral relations between Pakistan and Kuwait.
The distinguished guest was received at Islamabad International Airport by Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Zahid Hussain. The visit takes place at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, according to a statement issued by the Foreign Office spokesperson.
During the visit, both sides will undertake a comprehensive review of all areas of bilateral relations between the two countries. The discussions will focus on exploring opportunities for further promoting cooperation in key sectors including trade, investment, manpower, energy, and mutual collaboration.
The Kuwaiti Foreign Minister is scheduled to hold meetings with Pakistan’s top political and government leadership during his stay. These engagements will cover matters of mutual interest as well as consultations on the regional and international situation.
The Foreign Office spokesperson emphasized that the visit reflects the longstanding brotherly relations between Pakistan and Kuwait, as well as the mutual trust and determination to further expand cooperation across various fields.
