ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Armed Forces’ longstanding tradition of promoting officers on the basis of professional merit, competence, and experience, Chief of General Staff (CGS) Lieutenant General Aamer Raza has been elevated to the rank of four-star General.

General Aamer Raza served as the Chief of General Staff (CGS) at General Headquarters (GHQ), one of the Pakistan Army’s most important operational and strategic appointments.

General Aamer Raza also brings significant technical and administrative experience to his new role.
