ISLAMABAD: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Secretary General, Amir-ul-Azeem, passed away on [Date], after a courageous and protracted battle with cancer.
Mr. Azeem had been fighting the illness with remarkable fortitude and continued to fulfill his responsibilities within the movement until his final moments. His unwavering dedication to his party duties, even in the face of a serious disease, was a testament to his strong character and commitment.

In a heartfelt statement, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman described the demise of Amir-ul-Azeem as an “irreparable loss” for the party. He emphasized that the secretary general’s absence would leave a void that would be exceedingly difficult to fill.
