QUETTA: The Balochistan government has immediately begun implementing the provisions of the agreement reached with the Dharna Committee, with Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti ordering that government buildings, police stations, educational institutions, and health centers be renamed after the martyrs of Ziarat who fell while fighting terrorism.
Following the Chief Minister’s directives, the Principal Secretary to the CM has issued formal letters to the Home, Education, and Health Departments, directing them to complete the renaming process and obtain approval from the competent authority. Under the plan, four police stations in Ziarat district will be renamed: Police Station Sarmaksi becomes “Shaheed Hasratullah Kakar Police Station,” Police Station Dosarka Shabozai becomes “Shaheed Jindad Khan Police Station,” Police Station Mangi becomes “Shaheed Zainullah Panizai Police Station,” and Police Station Zandra becomes “Shaheed Major Zaman Panizai Police Station.”
In the education sector, Government Boys High School Kan Depot will be named “Shaheed Constable Mustafa Khan Government Boys High School,” Government Girls Middle School Kan Depot will be named “Shaheed Constable Muhammad Asif Government Girls Middle School,” and Government Boys High School Kawas West will be renamed “Shaheed Constable Muhammad Usman Government Boys High School.” Under the Health Department, Rural Health Center Ahmadoon will become “Shaheed Constable Azhar Ahmed Ahmad Damar Rural Health Center,” while Basic Health Unit Kawas West will be named “Shaheed Faridullah BHU Kawas West.”
Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti stated that the government is ensuring full implementation of every promise made to the martyrs, calling them the pride of the nation for their sacrifices in defense of the homeland and protection of public life and property. He emphasized that naming institutions after them is an effective effort to keep their bravery alive and inspire the new generation, reiterating that his government will continue taking all possible steps for the welfare of martyrs and their families and for timely fulfillment of all agreement commitments.
