Martyrs’ Bodies Repatriated with Full Honors as Ziarat Sit-In Ends

QUETTA: The Balochistan government and the Dharna Committee have reached a successful agreement, bringing an end to the prolonged sit-in protest. Following the breakthrough negotiations, authorities have finalized all arrangements for the dignified transfer of martyrs’ bodies to their native towns for burial.

 

On the directives of Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, special measures have been implemented to ensure the honorable repatriation of the fallen. The process of transferring the bodies via ambulances will commence shortly, with comprehensive medical facilities and security protocols in place to facilitate the solemn journey.

 

The negotiations between the government delegation and the Dharna Committee proceeded in a constructive and cordial atmosphere, resulting in the resolution of all outstanding issues through mutual consensus. The Balochistan government has initiated immediate implementation of the agreed-upon points outlined in the settlement.

 

Chief Minister Bugti emphasized that the sacrifices of the martyrs are a source of pride for the entire nation. He affirmed that the Balochistan government stands in solidarity with the grieving families and will continue to take all possible measures to address their concerns, ensure their dignity, and safeguard their welfare.

 

The agreement marks a significant step toward restoring peace and addressing the grievances of the affected communities in the region.
