Balochistan CM approves: Girls College Cantt road to be named after ‘Shaheed Nazima Talib’

QUETTA: The Government of Balochistan has approved the naming of a government postgraduate college in Quetta after the late Professor Dr. Talib, who was martyred while serving the nation.

The decision was made following the recommendation of the Adviser to the Chief Minister of Balochistan on Information and Public Relations, Shahid Rind. Under the approved proposal, the Government Postgraduate College, Kuchlak, Quetta Cantonment, will officially be renamed “Shaheed Professor Dr. Talib Government Postgraduate College.”

In this regard, the approval was granted by the Chief Minister of Balochistan in recognition of the late professor’s remarkable academic contributions and his sacrifice in the line of duty.

The provincial government described the decision as a tribute to an educator who dedicated his life to the promotion of knowledge and the service of society.

The Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister of Balochistan has formally directed the Provincial Secretary for Education to initiate all necessary legal and administrative procedures required to implement the decision.

In this sense, the officials mentioned that Professor Dr. Talib rendered distinguished services in the education sector and embraced martyrdom while fulfilling his national responsibilities.

The Balochistan government noted that his sacrifice and commitment continue to serve as an enduring source of inspiration for future generations, particularly young students and educators.

He focused on that recognizing such personalities reflects the government’s appreciation of their dedication to education, patriotism, and nation-building.

He further stated that preserving the legacy of respected teachers and scholars is essential for encouraging future generations to pursue excellence, integrity, and public service.

The Government of Balochistan confirmed its commitment to taking practical steps to acknowledge and honor individuals who have served society with distinction.
