QUETTA : Balochistan Police has categorically rejected social media reports claiming that 30 police personnel posted in Ziarat district have resigned from their posts, terming the news “completely baseless, fabricated, and contrary to facts.”
In an official statement, a spokesperson for Balochistan Police condemned the circulation of what they described as misleading information, urging the public not to pay heed to unverified claims spreading on digital platforms.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Ziarat, Abdul Malik, also denied the reports, expressing complete ignorance about any such resignations. He confirmed that all police personnel in the district remain on duty and that the force is functioning normally.
Authorities have warned that legal action could be taken against those involved in spreading fake news aimed at creating unrest. The police have appealed to citizens to verify information from official sources before sharing it on social media.
