ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced on Tuesday that security forces have successfully neutralized 15 terrorists during recent operations in Balochistan.
Presiding over a federal cabinet meeting, the Prime Minister reviewed the security landscape, focusing on the recent surge in foreign-backed terrorism across the country.
The cabinet expressed grave concerns over the nexus between India and Afghanistan, which is reportedly fueling the latest wave of terrorism in Pakistan.
During the session, the cabinet offered condolences over the martyrdom of nine police personnel in Ziarat.
PM Shehbaz Sharif paid rich tribute to the fallen officers, stating that the ultimate sacrifices of these soldiers will forever remain an immortal part of national history.
He reaffirmed his government’s resolve, asserting that the day is not far when the menace of terrorism will be completely eradicated from the country.
