SIALKOT: Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has declared that Pakistan’s role in the Iran-US war will be remembered until the Day of Judgment, emphasizing the country’s success in establishing peace in the region.

 

Speaking to media representatives in Sialkot, the Defense Minister noted that the Day of Ashura arrives at a time when regional conflicts are raging. He observed that Iranians have revived the memory of the martyrs of Karbala and the legacy of Imam Hussain (R.A.) during these tense times.

 

Khawaja Asif asserted that Pakistan’s contribution to de-escalating the Iran-US conflict stands as a historic achievement. He stated that Pakistan brought about peace and emerged victorious, earning recognition from the entire nation for its diplomatic and strategic efforts.

 

The Defense Minister also expressed solidarity with the people of Lebanon, vowing that they will be saved from Israeli oppression. He offered prayers for Muslims suffering under oppression worldwide, saying, “Wherever Muslims are being oppressed, Allah will grant them freedom.”
