QUETTA: A commercial explosive material accidentally detonate on a moving motorcycle near Khanozai area of Pishin district along the National Highway, injuring three people.
According to Khanozai SHO Naseebullah, the individuals were transporting mining explosives on the motorcycle. The material, typically used in chromite mines, exploded suddenly during their journey along the national highway. The blast was accidental, said Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Inayat.
The blast severely injured three men, identified as Zahoor, Faisal, and Muhammad Afzal. Two of the victims lost their legs in the explosion, while doctors describe the condition of the third victim as critical.
Rescue officials provided initial medical aid at the scene before shifting the injured to a hospital in Quetta for advanced treatment. Police have launched a full investigation into the incident.
